A gay romance between a vampire teacher and his student, author Scarlet Winter wanted a specific look she could not find elsewhere. 3D models were used for the posing of the couple with facial replacement of real models, and a haunting library background with some light horror VFX to give it a supernatural dark romance vibe.
Author Barry J. Hutchison wanted a cover that illustrated a viral zombie outbreak caused by bugs. He liked this simple concept of bugs crawling across a street with a biohazard symbol painted on it. A stock photo of a street was used, along with a custom shape of a biohazard symbol and live images of beetles, all blended together to form this fun and chilling cover.
Author Karl Drinkwater wanted a cover to the sequel of his first book, Lost Solace. He wanted to use the same stock photo character he used for Lost Solace, with a new background and color scheme. A purple/red gradient was used in conjunction with a hand-crafted space background and lens flares for this sci-fi horror cover.
Author T.R. Harris wanted a new cover for his techno-thriller novel about terrorist-controlled drones. He asked us for a cover that incorporated the National Mall, which plays a role in the story. We came up with a "target cam" concept that the author loved, making a stock photo of the Washington Monument look like it's on a TV screen with targeting reticles from a drone incorporated into it.
For her zombie action novel, author Hayley Lawson provided a stock photo of a model with specific requests: she wanted the model to have long hair, tattoos, and be in a snowy environment. We painted on long hair and tattoos as well as compositing the model into a winter background with lighting effects to give Hayley the exact cover she wanted.
For her haunted house horror story, author Pip Harrison wanted a frightening image. She chose this concept where we took a 3D model and used lighting and blurring effects, along with some grunge textures and modern font to create a chilling cover for her ghost story.
Author Sam Cox wanted a cover for his political thriller, so we came up with a collage of the Capitol Building made from newsprint with a blue and red coloring that gave the author the exact look and feel for the story he wanted to tell.
Author Toasha Jiordana wanted to use a specific myan symbol for the cover of her book series "The Great Glitch," but she didn't know how to incorporate it. We came up with multiple concepts for the symbol, and she settled on one that featured it on fire with dramatic lighting effects.

For the final book in her "Great Glitch" series, author Toasha Jiordana wanted to utilize her mayan symbol with a feeling of "rebirth." We utilized earth tones, smoke effects, and lighting effects to create the feeling of a return the a lush planet.
Author E.A. West had a stock photo she wanted to use for the cover of her book. We did color correction, changed the color of the car to make it pop more, added the tail light effects, as well as a smoke effect at the bottom of the image. We then added a dramatic title to fill the negative space so that it was featured prominently.
For her alternate history novel, author Mary Kit Caelsto wanted a cover that incorporated the Civil War and magical musical instruments. We came up with a concept that took a stock photo of an oboe with mystical lighting effects and a custom shape along with shades of a civil war battle in the background to give the author a cover that perfectly conveys what her story is about.
