For the 23rd book in his “Human Chronicles” series, author TR Harris wanted a spaceship in a harrowing situation that reflected the title “Mission Critical.” He liked this concept of a distressed space ship speeding through the atmosphere of a planet. We used a 3D model along with lighting and blur effects to create this image.
