Darn Good Covers came about because writer Matthew Kadish started making covers for his own books and the books of his friends. When his fellow authors commented “Hey, these are pretty darn good covers!” other people began to pay him to make equally darn good covers for them. Thus, a business was born. Now, Matthew and his brother Paul are designing professional-quality covers for independent authors for affordable fees.

REFUND POLICY

We understand mistakes happen and needs change. For Pre-Made Covers, you can request a refund anytime before the final, customized image is emailed to you and we will refund your purchase in full. However, after you receive your Pre-Made Cover, the refund period expires. Due to digital piracy, once the customized Pre-Made Cover is delivered, we cannot issue a refund.

We will always work with you to ensure your satisfaction with whatever purchase you make.

What Forms Of Payment Do You Accept?

We accept payments through Paypal and credit cards. We use Paypal and Square to process payments.

What Do You Need To Complete A Cover?

For all covers, the title, author name, and any taglines, series titles, or blurbs you may want on the cover are required. We ask that you provide this information to us through the fields on the order page before completing your purchase. This allows us to quickly get you your personalized cover as soon as we possibly can.

What If My Book Is Not Complete?

If you see a pre-made cover you believe is perfect for your uncompleted book, we recommend you purchase it now so that it is not sold to someone else before your book is complete. We can alter the title and other text elements to suit your completed book at any time. Simply contact us when you are ready to have the cover customized and we’ll be happy to accommodate you.

Do I Need To Credit You In My Book?

You are not required to credit us as the cover designer in your finished book. However, should you decide to do so, not only would it be greatly appreciated, we’ll also give you a discount on a future cover. Simply email us and let us know where we can see our attribution.
